Sade Spence is an entertainment journalist and on-camera host. She loves using celebrity and pop culture to drive conversations about THE CULTURE. She started as a DJ in undergrad at UCLA where she booked and interviewed her own talent including Big Sean, Jhene Aiko, Kid Ink and and most notably Kendrick Lamar. Sade worked at KTLA 5 News in the entertainment department as an intern acting as a field producer at red carpet events before becoming an editor at Sam Rubin’s Hollywood Uncensored on Reelz Channel. She then went on to earn a Master’s in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University before becoming a regular contributor at Variety - working with both the online magazine and video team. She's also produced videos with HelloBeautiful, Fashion Bomb Daily, Rolling Out, BlacktreeTV, Ebony, Al Roker Entertainment, and Celebrity Page TV as well as bylines in Billboard, Buzzfeed, The GRAMMYs, Interview Magazine, and Galore Magazine. Now, she covers red carpets, movie junkets, and premieres in Los Angeles with notable talent to include Tyler Perry, Taraji P. Henson, Steve Carell, Tiffany Haddish, Keira Knightley, and Janelle Monae. Sade also holds an esteemed Gracie Award from the Alliance For Women in Media Foundation. On a personal note, Sade stans anything Rihanna, Rihanna over everything.
