Sade Spence is an award-winning entertainment journalist and on-camera host. She holds an esteemed Gracie Award from the Alliance For Women in Media Foundation — just like Oprah. She is marked by her unique questions that get A-listers talking including Angelina Jolie, Will Smith, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt.
Sade’s goal to uplift people of color and specifically Black women was recently recognized by Twitter. She collaborated with the company and launched a billboard in Los Angeles as part of their culture and community campaign. She was recently featured in GLAMOUR South Africa for her efforts to evoke change both in Hollywood and in Black communities. In February 2019, she was a panelist on Refinery29's "Black Culture Is Pop Culture" panel.
Sade earned a Master’s in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University before becoming a red carpet contributor at Variety. She’s also known for her work covering red carpets and junkets with AMC Theatres, Billboard, The GRAMMYs, Interview Magazine, HelloBeautiful, Fashion Bomb Daily, Rolling Out, BlacktreeTV, Ebony, Al Roker Entertainment, Celebrity Page TV, and many more.
